From the newsroom to the film set.
106 Film is an independent production company founded by people who learned their trade in television and news. From our base in Kavacık we shoot all over Turkey and abroad.
Our story
Our founders started out in the newsroom. The first lesson in the field was simple: a good story starts with listening to the person who lived it. We set up 106 Film to bring that habit into the world of brands.
The early years were all commercials and promotional films. Then we started creating our own formats. Hayat Yeniden, a first for health television in Turkey, ran for six seasons on Habertürk TV. Doktorunuzla 3 Dakika and Sınırları Aşanlar followed.
Our DVD series with well-known names in sport and personal development went straight in at number one on the bestseller lists. We also produced programme series telling the stories of some of Turkey's longest-standing brands.
In healthcare communications, our subsidiary Health Brand Management runs social media and brand management for hospitals and health brands. And today, events and organisation are a core part of what our team does.

The team
Our core team is a producer, a director, an editor and a project manager. On each project we scale up with the cinematographers, art directors and technical crews we have worked with for years.
The person across the table at the first meeting is the same person there on delivery day. On large productions, you never pay for a full-time roster you don't need.
For events, the stage manager, technical director, front-of-house team and site coordinator are hired for the job. Before every event, the whole team walks the venue together.

How big is your team?
Our core team is small and experienced. We scale up with directors, cinematographers, editors and technical crew as each project demands. A large launch can see more than thirty people working on site.
Do you only work in Istanbul?
No. We have delivered projects in Izmir, Ankara and many cities across Anatolia. We shoot abroad too.
We already have an ad agency. How would we work together?
We can produce the concept your agency has developed. In that case, we coordinate directly with them.
